E mihi ana kia koutou katoa mō te tautoko, mō te whai wā ki te pānui I ēnei kōrero.

I am 27 years old, born and raised in South Auckland, a place I call home, and a place that has played a huge part in shaping who I am as a Wahine and Māmā today.

How did Hawaiiki Pēpi begin?

Māori designed products and blankets for babies.

I am a proud Māori Wahine and I am extremely passionate about my people and my culture. Alongside this I am a Māmā to two beautiful pēpi and I absolutely blessed to have them by my side. Being Māori and being a Māmā are two of the most Important parts of my life and so the whakaaro of creating this amazing pākihi came to life.

For me knowing who you are, and where you come from play a huge role in your identity and I want nothing more for my babies than to be surrounded by their culture, to be proud of who they are and to stand strong in their Tuakiritanga.

The importance of our babies being surrounded by their ahurea and their Reo helps our babies to feel a connection to their whenua and that is exactly what this pākihi aims to do for all of your pēpi.

Through these beautiful māori desings we aim to enhance Te Ao Māori In our pēpi right from birth.

Ngā manaakitanga
